A Courchevel spa afternoon is a discipline in its own right. The resort's palace hotels each run a serious spa with a signature skincare house attached: Guerlain at Cheval Blanc, La Mer at Les Airelles, La Prairie at L'Apogée, Nescens at Le K2 Palace. Add Aquamotion, down between Courchevel Village and Moriond, and ski-tired legs are better looked after here than almost anywhere in the Alps.

Most palace spas take outside bookings for treatments when the diary allows, and every one of them fills fast in February. The differences lie in the skincare house, the water and the rituals.

Fouquet's Courchevel Spa
1,000m² on the Bellecôte snowfront: a twenty-metre pool, six cabins plus a double suite, and Biologique Recherche treatments.
New this winter: Asaya at Rosewood
Rosewood opened its first winter resort, Rosewood Courchevel Le Jardin Alpin, in March 2026, bringing the resort a new spa: Asaya, the group's wellness concept, with a heated pool, sauna, hammam, cold plunge and jacuzzi. Treatments are built for the mountains, including a Deep Alpine Massage created for the property. The hotel is scheduled to reopen in December 2026, which makes 2026-27 the first full season to try it.
Aquamotion: The Accessible Option
Not every good soak in Courchevel needs a palace. Aquamotion, the aquatic and wellness centre between Courchevel Village and Moriond, pairs a family area with slides, wild rivers and an indoor surf wave with an adults-only Aquawellness circuit: relaxation pools, saunas, steam room and a salt grotto. A separate spa area handles massages and treatments. Current hours and tickets are published on the Aquamotion site.
What to Book After a Ski Day
- Deep tissue massage: The default choice for ski-tired muscles
- Hot and cold contrast: Banya, ice fountain or cold plunge, then sauna, the classic alpine recovery
- Facial treatments: Altitude and sun dry the skin faster than most guests expect
- In-chalet treatments: Most therapists travel, so the spa can come to you
