1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Courchevel Rentals website and services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services Description

Courchevel Rentals acts as an intermediary between property owners and guests seeking luxury accommodation in Courchevel and the surrounding areas. We facilitate bookings but do not own the properties listed on our platform.

3. Booking Process

Enquiries

All booking enquiries are subject to availability and confirmation by the property owner. Submitting an enquiry does not guarantee a booking.

Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only when you receive written confirmation from Courchevel Rentals and the required deposit has been received.

4. Payment Terms

  • Deposit: 30-50% of the total rental amount due at booking confirmation
  • Balance: Due 8-12 weeks before arrival (varies by property)
  • Security Deposit: Required for most properties, returned after departure inspection

5. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation terms vary by property. Standard policy:

  • More than 90 days before arrival: Deposit forfeited
  • 60-90 days before arrival: 50% of total forfeited
  • Less than 60 days before arrival: 100% of total forfeited

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to protect against unforeseen cancellations.

6. Property Rules

Guests agree to:

  • Respect the property and its contents
  • Not exceed the maximum occupancy stated
  • Follow house rules provided by the property owner
  • Not engage in illegal activities
  • Report any damage immediately

7. Check-in/Check-out

Standard check-in is from 4:00 PM and check-out by 10:00 AM. Most Courchevel rentals operate Saturday-to-Saturday during peak season. Early/late arrangements may be possible upon request.

8. Liability

Courchevel Rentals acts as an agent and is not liable for:

  • Actions or omissions of property owners
  • Personal injury or property loss during your stay
  • Force majeure events affecting your booking

9. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms shall be governed by French law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Chambéry, France.
