1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the Courchevel Rentals website and services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Services Description
Courchevel Rentals acts as an intermediary between property owners and guests seeking luxury accommodation in Courchevel and the surrounding areas. We facilitate bookings but do not own the properties listed on our platform.
3. Booking Process
Enquiries
All booking enquiries are subject to availability and confirmation by the property owner. Submitting an enquiry does not guarantee a booking.
Confirmation
A booking is confirmed only when you receive written confirmation from Courchevel Rentals and the required deposit has been received.
4. Payment Terms
The figures below are those of the seasonal rental contract used for these bookings, in its 4 September 2026 version. They are our contract terms, not an average of practice in the resort.
- Payment on confirmation: 25% of the rental price. The contract states expressly that this sum is paid as an acompte and not asarrhes, so the commitment is firm on both sides.
- Balance: Due one month before arrival. If it is not settled by then, the agency may cancel the booking within the following five days; the 25% is returned where the property is re-let for the same dates at the same rate.
- Security deposit: Taken as a card imprint during the month before arrival and not debited, or paid by bank transfer together with the balance where the contract states that it is to be cashed. Returned within one month of departure at the latest. Any repair is billed at cost plus 20% in management fees.
- Tourist tax: Never included in the rental price. It appears as a separate line on the contract, charged per adult per night, and falls due at key handover together with the security deposit and any extras booked.
5. Cancellation Policy
The contract sets two steps, not three:
- From booking until 31 days before arrival: the 25% paid on confirmation is forfeited
- From 30 days before arrival to the arrival day, no-show included: 100% of the stay is due
One exception is written in: where the property is re-let for the same dates at the same price, sums paid are refunded less a 5% administrative fee. Leaving early once the stay has started gives no refund.
Where the agency has to cancel — the act of a third party, or a natural disaster — alternative accommodation of the same category is offered at no extra cost, and where none can be found the sums paid are refunded in full.
We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to protect against unforeseen cancellations. We do not sell it.
6. Property Rules
Guests agree to:
- Respect the property and its contents
- Not exceed the maximum occupancy stated
- Follow house rules provided by the property owner
- Not engage in illegal activities
- Report any damage immediately
7. Check-in/Check-out
Standard check-in is from 4:00 PM and check-out by 10:00 AM. Most Courchevel rentals operate Saturday-to-Saturday during peak season. Early/late arrangements may be possible upon request.
8. Liability
Courchevel Rentals acts as an agent and is not liable for:
- Actions or omissions of property owners
- Personal injury or property loss during your stay
- Force majeure events affecting your booking
9. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these terms shall be governed by French law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Chambéry, France.
10. Contact and Site Publisher
This website is published and operated by Maison TALLI, a sole proprietorship under German law (Einzelunternehmen), owned by Sonny Ubertalli. "Courchevel Rentals" is a trading name, not a separate company.
