In Sonny's experience, what comes with a chalet depends on its size. From 600 to 1,000 m² and above, the team is a chalet manager, a private chef, a driver, a host, a keeper and a butler. In a residence of several apartments, the concierge and the driver are shared, with a chef and a butler for each apartment and a room service that goes round all of them. The owner also decides: some bring their own staff to keep an eye on the guests and the house, others provide none. So read the property file for the named team, and ask whether it is the owner's own.

The term "VIP chalet" is used loosely in the industry, so here it is a filter you can check rather than an adjective. Excellence means half board: breakfast, tea-time and lunch or dinner: one main meal a day, lunch or dinner, and no property we list is on full board.
