Jean Blanc Sports has been in the village since the resort was built. That longevity means something. The staff know every generation of regular clients, the stock is consistently well chosen, and going there feels like part of what Courchevel is supposed to be.
The Insider Move: Private Shopping Experiences
Several of the luxury boutiques in Courchevel, Hermès and Dior among them, can arrange private shopping sessions with a tea service. A dedicated member of staff, a selection of pieces brought out specifically for you, a table with a small spread, and no other customers in the room. It is a completely different experience from walking into the shop during après-ski.
The catch: it needs to be arranged in advance, through someone who has the right contact. A concierge who knows the boutique managers directly. It is not something you can request at the door on the day. This is one of the reasons a local concierge makes a real difference in Courchevel.
