What Is the Piou-Piou Garderie?
The Garderie Piou-Piou is a dedicated childcare facility operated by the ESF (École du Ski Français) in Courchevel. It is distinct from the Piou-Piou ski programme — the Garderie is a full childcare service, not a ski lesson, designed for toddlers and young children not yet ready for the slopes.
Children are welcomed from morning to evening, five or six days a week, in an indoor space designed entirely for their age group. Every detail — from the layout to the activities — has been created with young children in mind.

A Safe, Stimulating Environment
The Garderie space is fully dedicated to young children. It features magic carpets and snow play areas where children can discover the mountain environment at their own pace — joyfully, safely, with no pressure. Indoors, activities are adapted to each child's age and development.
All childcare professionals are qualified and diploma-holding. The team is experienced in working with toddlers in an alpine environment and maintains a low child-to-staff ratio throughout the day.

- 9h00 Drop-off. Morning welcome routine, free play in the dedicated indoor space.
- 9h30 Supervised outdoor activities — magic carpet, snow discovery, sensory play.
- 12h00 Lunch (optional, instructor-supervised). Rest period.
- 14h00 Afternoon activities — games, creative activities, outdoor time.
- 17h00 Pick-up. End of day review with staff.
