Pralong occupies the plateau at the far end of Courchevel 1850, where the village stops and the mountain begins properly. The road through Pralong winds past some of the largest private chalets in the resort — properties with genuine grounds, separate staff quarters, and the kind of space that makes a week with 14 or 16 people feel comfortable rather than cramped.
The ski access is direct and honest: the Chenus blue run skirts the edge of the sector, giving most properties ski-out access in the morning and a viable ski-in route when conditions allow. It's not the wall-to-wall ski-in ski-out of Les Chenus sector, but it's real enough for guests who ski early and stay out late.
The trade-off is distance from the village. Pralong is 8–12 minutes on foot from the Croisette — not a problem for guests who ski everywhere, but a consideration for those who like to walk for lunch. Most Pralong guests use the ski bus or arrange a chalet driver as part of their package, which our team handles as standard.
