Cospillot is one of the areas I look at first when a guest wants to stay close to the centre of Courchevel 1850 without giving up the privacy of a chalet.
In practice, it is a very good compromise between restaurants, the centre and ski access. From many of the chalets we work with in Cospillot, the centre is only a short walk away, and the area has pavements that make the walk practical even for families with young children.
For skiing, the exact chalet location matters. Guests can either walk towards the main lifts in the centre or use the Cospillot piste access near K2. The Cospillot side is generally more demanding than Bellecôte, so the guests' ski level matters when choosing between the two areas.
For families travelling with a chauffeur, the choice between Cospillot, Bellecôte and Jardin Alpin often comes down to the chalet itself, the weekly price and which property the family prefers. Cospillot works particularly well when being able to walk into the centre is important.
